VisDir Free Disk Space Finder is a shareware utility for Windows. This application gives the opportunity to view the content of all our hard disks, external drives, removable or portable devices, in a colorful graphical way. The user-friendly interface is divided into two panels, one on the left of the screen for our computer's directory tree, and one on the right for us to view the content of the previously specified drive, file, folder, etc. We can navigate through our entire directory tree and select one or all our drives, folders, or files, and choose to view them either as a pie chart graphic, horizontal bar, or vertical bar. This program not only displays the names of the programs, files, and folders, but also shows their sizes in the bottom. We can click on any piece of the pie (or bar), and view much more detailed info about its content (even the smallest file can be displayed). We can also choose to open any file/folder with our Windows Explorer. If we see anything that we do not need anymore, we can remove it (not from the program itself, but by using external tools). We can try the fully functional evaluation version of this program free of charge. This program runs under Microsoft XP, 2000, NT, ME, 98, and 95 operating systems.
